Crystal structure of 3-bromomethyl-2-chloro-6-(dibromomethyl)quinoline
In the title compound, C11H7Br3ClN, the quinoline ring system is approximately planar (r.m.s. = 0.011 Å). In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯Br inter-actions forming chains along [10-1]. The chains are linked by C-H⋯π and π-π inter-actions involving inversion-related pyridine rings [inter-centroid distance = 3.608 (4) Å], forming sheets parallel to (10-1). Within the sheets, there are...
متن کامل4-Chloro-3-methylphenyl quinoline-2-carboxylate
In the title compound, C17H12ClNO2, the dihedral angle between the mean planes of the quinoline ring system and the benzene ring is 68.7 (7)°. The mean plane of the carboxyl-ate group is twisted from the latter planes by 14.0 (1) and 80.2 (4)°, respectively. In the crystal, weak C-H⋯O inter-actions are observed, forming chains along [001]. In addition, π-π stacking inter-actions [centroid-centr...
متن کامل2-Chloro-8-methyl-3-[(pyrimidin-4-yloxy)methyl]quinoline
In the title compound, C(15)H(12)ClN(3)O, the quinoline ring system is essentially planar, with a maximum deviation of 0.017 (1) Å. The crystal packing is stabilized by π-π stacking inter-actions between the quinoline rings of adjacent mol-ecule, with a centroid-centroid distance of 3.5913 (8) Å. A weak C-H⋯π contact is also observed between mol-ecules.
متن کاملThe crystal structure of 3-chloro-2-(4-methylphenyl)-2H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]quinoline
In the mol-ecule of 3-chloro-2-(4-methyl-phen-yl)-2H-pyrazolo-[3,4-b]quinoline, C17H12ClN3, (I), the dihedral angle between the planes of the pyrazole ring and the methyl-ated phenyl ring is 54.25 (9)°. The bond distances in the fused tricyclic system provide evidence for 10-π delocalization in the pyrazolo-pyridine portion of the mol-ecule, with diene character in the fused carbocyclic ring. I...
متن کاملBiological Activity of Quinoline Alkaloids from Raulinoa echinata and X-ray Structure of Flindersiamine
Raulinoa is a monospecific genus and the species Raulinoa echinata Cowan (Rutaceae) is endemic in the Itajaí Valley, SC, Brazil. This perennial woody shrub is characterized by the presence of spines and has only been found in a short interval (1000 m) on the frequently inundated banks of Itajaí river in an approximate altitude of 100 m, showing a high degree of adaptation to the environment. We...
